Biological and sustainable restoration of the skin barrier function

LIPIGENIUM™ technology restores an effective skin barrier. It is a complex of multi-lamellar, biomimetic lipids and essential fatty acids that:

1) immediately physically restores the skin's protective layer,

2) biologically stimulates lipid and protein synthesis, achieving a lasting effect on the integrity of the skin barrier.

The patented SKIN BARRIER THERAPY® complex contains a sucroester that biologically protects against Staph. aureus colonization by creating barriers that prevent staphylococci from attaching to corneocytes. This biologically prevents Staph. aureus from multiplying in atopic skin, which can exacerbate skin dryness.

Reducing itching and soothing the skin

Contains palmitoleic ethanolamide, or PEA, a biomimetic fatty acid amide that is naturally found in the body and released during inflammation.

PEA:
- inhibits the release of the substance that causes the itching sensation,

- reduces skin sensitivity to various stimuli and increases the skin's pain tolerance threshold,
- inhibits the release of inflammatory substances.

Natural anti-inflammatory action

β-sitosterol is a plant-derived sterol or phytosterol that has cortisone-like effects. It inhibits the secretion of inflammatory mediators and has an immunomodulatory effect.

The biomimetic trace element zinc inhibits some inflammatory mediators.

Limiting the growth of microorganisms
